Publication of the Federation #3 magazine – The Green Issue

In 2017, the Fédération, with support from DEFI, launched the Federation magazine as a showcase for French women’s ready-to-wear brands and French creativity during the Paris Fashion Week.

This year’s third edition, a special “green” issue available 19 September, focuses on brands and professionals active in the environmental cause and features exclusive content on all the initiatives concerning new ways to manufacture, consume, and manage. Brands, consumers, and the entire French fashion eco-system are increasingly aware of these problems – a fact that needs to be publicized, promoted, and encouraged.

Pierre-François Le Louët, President of the Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin, states, “The Fédération is absolutely committed to helping French businesses in their combined efforts to renew the fashion industry. We encourage all business managers to take part in this powerful principle: making our sector more virtuous is an opportunity.”

In the issue, Brune Poirson, Secretary of State to the Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition, gives an exclusive interview to Pierre-François Le Louët on the challenges of creating an involved, unified fashion community.

The magazine also presents interviews with fashion figures such as Thomas Huriez from 1083, Julia Faure from Loom, Guillaume Gibault from the Slip Français, Clément Maulavé from Hopaal, Sakina M’Sa from Front de Mode, and Charlotte Dereux from Patine as well as Elisabeth Laville from Utopies, Gauthier Borsarello from Le Vif, Damien Pellé from Galeries Lafayette, and Isabelle Lefort from Paris Good Fashion.

The Federation special-edition Green Issue takes a strong, positive stance for the French fashion industry. The bilingual publication will be on the stands when Paris Fashion Week kicks off 23 September with 3,000 copies available in the capital’s key concept stores and to VIP buyers at the Week’s three professional trade shows: Premiere Classe, Tranoï, and Woman.
